The next &ldquo\;Open for Business&rdquo\; workshop will be hosted by the City of Laguna Beach on Thursday\, Nov 10 from 6:30 &ndash\; 8:30 p.m. at the Laguna Beach Community Center\, 380 Third Street. \;
\n\nWorkshop participants will include Planning Commissioners Susan Whitin and Anne Johnson\, representatives from the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce\, and Martina Caron and Anthony Viera\, City Planners for the City of Laguna Beach.
\n\n&ldquo\;Many prospective business people want to discuss their issues before they initiate formal applications with the City\,&rdquo\; said Planning Commissioner Johnson\, coordinator of these workshops. &ldquo\;Just discussing their concerns and issues informally seems to help.&rdquo\;
\n\n&ldquo\;These Open for Business workshops are a great way for existing business owners as well as those that are interested in opening a new business\, to get answers to questions and information about doing business in Laguna Beach&rdquo\; said Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce Director\, Laura Henkels.
\nAs a result of the workshops last year\, several new businesses came to Laguna Beach\, and others are planned for the future.
