DESCRIPTION:The City of Laguna Beach and The Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the next "Open For Construction" workshop on Tuesday\, September 27\, 2016\, from 1:30pm-4:30pm at the Susi Q Community Center\, 380 3rd street.\n\nCalifornia 2016 Building Standards will soon be entering a new code cycle with significant changes that effect design professionals\, engineers\, builders\, property owners\, and real estate professionals.  This presentation will cover significant updates to the 2016 Building\, Energy\, and Green Code Standards.  Learn about the new requirements for California's Zero Net Energy Action Plan\, Electric Vehicle Charging Stations\, and new Accessibility guidelines. \n\nThe opportunity for three hours of Continuing Education Units is available with pre-registration by September 23\, 2016.\n\nFor information on the content of the workshop\, please contact Maria Ring\, Permit Aide\, Building Division at (949)497-0789\, mring@lagunabeachcity.net\n\nParking:  Limited parking is available on the ground level (Lot 13) of the Susi Q Community Center.
