Builders for Babies

HomeAid Essentials is a community-wide effort to collect these essential items in partnership with the First Five Orange County, Children and Families Commission. HomeAid's mission is to end homelessness. At the Builders for Babies event, teams of homebuilders will compete to build the best homes and structures made entirely of diapers. Hundreds of volunteers will be onsite to assist in loading UPS trucks and packing palettes of donated items which will benefit 23 shelters for families experiencing homelessness, including Precious Life Shelter (Los Alamitos), Families Forward (Irvine), South County Outreach and HomeAid Family CareCenter (Orange). This festive event will include music, food, and booths and is open to the public.
