Internet and Digital Safety for Tweens - a must before you give them a Smart Phone

Internet and Digital Safety workshop - taught by NetSmartz(1)

Using online technology and social media is an increasingly important skill for young people today.  With tweens averaging more than four and a half hours of digital use a day it’s important that they learn about online safety.  NetSmartz is the industry leader with engaging curriculum and is teaching this class only in Laguna.  If you are looking for a way to empower your middle school child to think critically and want to help them be safe online – this workshop is for them!

Young people will learn what it means to be a smart and savvy digital citizen and will be empowered to use technology in a safe and responsible manner. This  three part series will  addresses cyber bullying, privacy, social media, security settings and more. These sessions are for young people ages 10-13.

Registration: City of Laguna Beach

  1. NetSmartz is a program of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and all proceeds will be donated to this organization.
