Laguna Beach Music Festival Saturday Night Concert

New Global Voices – Our musical dialogue between past and present continues with a thrilling evening of 20th- and 21st-century masterpieces from across the spectrum of great musical traditions. Koh and Wosner join acclaimed L.A.-based collective wild Up! and their founder and conductor Christopher Rountree for works ranging from the haunting neoclassical strains of Ukranian composer Valentin Silvestrov to those of contemporary jazz master Vijay Iyer. A world premiere by Anthony Cheung alongside Claude Viver’s Asian-inspired masterpiece Zipangu round out this thrilling night of musical exploration and adventure.
