California Building Code Standards – 2019 Update

Come and learn about the 2019 Energy and CALGreen Standards updates for newly con-structed buildings, as well as additions and alterations to existing buildings. For residential buildings, topics include new photovoltaic system requirements for newly constructed residential buildings, increased requirements for high performance attics and walls, in-creased indoor air quality requirements, new water heater options, and much more.

For nonresidential buildings, topics include increased ventilation and indoor air quality requirements, changes to indoor and outdoor lighting, envelope, space conditioning, fac-tory exhaust systems, and much more. Review of standards and simplified verification and enforcement of the requirements for residential and nonresidential projects during the plan review and field inspection process will be presented.

Interwest Consulting Group will be presenting the code updates. Contractors, architects, engineers, design professionals, residents, property and business owners are invited to attend.
